In the past, planning your rotation schedule for next year was an "open" process. Trainees could see the schedule throughout the planning stages, before it was complete, and sometimes this caused undue confusion and agitation.
The new Rotation Schedule Planner provides a solution to this problem. Trainees can only see next year's schedule after you "release" it to them (usually when it is finished). In this way, you can plan for next year without anyone looking over your shoulder.
To release next year's rotation schedule:
1 Click the Schedules tab.
2 Click the schedulePlanner link.
3 Click the "release mode" tab.
4 Select the checkboxes beside the appropriate PGY Levels and undergraduate years and click the Release button.
Trainees can now see their rotation schedule for next year under the Schedules tab in their eDossier.
