The Duty Hours subfolder allows you and/or the residents to track the shifts they have worked each day.
To record the shifts for a specific day:
1 Go to the resident eDossier account
2 Click on the 'Duty Hour' tab.
The top of the screen will display a monthly calendar view. When the dates are blue within the calendar it indicates that the shifts information has already been entered into the system. A red date on the calendar indicates that the shift has yet to be entered. Individuals will not be able to enter shift information for dates in the future.
The bottom of the screen will switch to the view for that week.

3 Click on the starting hour of the shift on the daily view at the lower half of the screen.

4 Choose the type of shift worked.
5 Input the start and end times of the shift in military time.
6 Select the site of the shift worked and then hit 'save'.

Once all of the shifts have been entered the page will display colored fields indicating the start and end times, overall hours worked, shirt type and location.
On Call shifts are displayed in green unless they are more than 30 hours long in which case they are displayed in red. Off duty shifts are always shown in grey. Clicking on an existing shift opens the window to modify that shift. Editing a shift works the same as adding a shift. You change the parameters and click "Save" when you're done.
You can navigate to a new week by clicking on the week on the calendars above.
